We’ve secured our first commercial contracts, built a growing base of residential clients, and developed a reputation for doing things properly — with high standards, great communication, and a personal touch.
Now, as we take on more work across York, Selby, Tadcaster, and the surrounding villages and towns, it’s time to grow the team. And that’s where you come in.
The Role: Cleaning Operative
We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Cleaning Operative to join us on a zero hours contract basis as we continue to grow.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re looking for flexible work that fits around your life — whether that’s alongside other commitments, as a second income, or simply because you value being in charge of your own schedule. As our client base expands and contracts increase, so will your hours. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
The Details
💷 £13.00 per hour — above the National Living Wage
🚗 Mileage paid between jobs
🕐 Flexible working hours to suit you
📍 York, Selby & Surrounding Areas (Tadcaster, Sherburn in Elmet, Church Fenton and nearby villages)
📄 Zero hours contract — flexibility from day one
🎓 Full training provided — previous experience helpful but not essential
What You’ll Be Doing:
Day to day, you’ll be delivering our range of cleaning services to both residential and commercial clients. That includes:
- Regular domestic cleans for homeowners and landlords
- End-of-tenancy cleans to landlord and agency standards
- Deep cleans for properties that need a proper refresh
- Commercial cleans for offices, B&Bs, short-stay and other business premises

We’re not looking for a CV full of qualifications. We’re looking for the right person — someone who:
✅ Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
✅ Has a positive attitude and a friendly, professional manner with clients
✅ Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle
✅ Is happy to work flexibly across our service area
✅ Wants to be part of a team that genuinely values its people
✅ Experience in a cleaning role
